South Dakota Congresswoman Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin said the United States economy has steadied and defended her decision to vote against the health care reform bill during a visit to USD Tuesday. Herseth-Sandlin, who’s battling for re-election against Republican state Rep. Kristi Noem, said the economy will continue to be driving concern leading up to the November election, especially for college students.
