A thank you from SGA

Student Government Association wishes to thank the nearly 70 students who attended this week’s meeting.

Even in the face of a somewhat pressured environment, you were able to voice your concerns and confront an issue of utmost importance — the ability of students to earn their grades, not have them given to them by a scale.

Your resolve and courage was far more pronounced than the actual resolution discussed.

Again, thank you very much for your continued engagement and
courage to address an issue that others have neglected.

Student voice is so important to the function of SGA. It oils the machinery of SGA: both impelling change and curtailing it when necessary.

We continue to request that you voice your concerns. Together with student voice, SGA can demand change on campus.

Actions by SGA alone, without the fervor of student voice, can only be heard by so many people.

SGA united with the student voice, however, can be a force to be reckoned with, arching for necessary change.

Respectfully,

Student Government Association

SGA elections are being held from March 2 to 3.
