IN THE KNOW: Ending the Idea Program. It was expensive, unpopular and didn’t seem to be contributing to the general knowledge of the student body. Good riddance.

IN THE DARK: Earthquakes. We just went over this. The world is in enough turmoil already, we don’t need 300-plus people killed in Chile.

IN THE KNOW: Voting in the SGA elections. They have some power over your experience at USD so vote and be a part of the process.

IN THE DARK: Jay Leno. Well, you got your show back, are you happy now? You chose to leave the show, start the Jay Leno Show, which bombed, and you haven’t faced a single consequence of your actions. I guess it’s good to be the king.

IN THE KNOW: March. Daylight Savings Time makes the days longer, spring starts, it’s above freezing and there’s St. Patrick’s Day.

IN THE DARK: House Concurrent Resolution 1009. The resolution advocates alternative theories to global warming that include astrology. Apparently the legislature thinks that horoscopes effect the weather. Yeah ...
