THE RANT 3/3/10

Dear students with a lack of courtesy,

Almost every time I am at the MUC and walk by the booths I will see at least two of the four booths with only one person occupying them; all the while there are several unoccupied chairs all over the MUC that are often put together for group work because of a lack of comfortable table space .

Point being, it is incredibly rude to take up one of our few booths to do work by yourself when there are several chairs throughout the building with your name on them. There are numerous groups that could take advantage of the prime seats that fit multiple people.

So next time you are at the MUC and planning to spend a solo evening studying, save others from frustration and annoyance and grab a chair, not an entire booth.
