I don't understand where everyone is bashing Adam for that text message when I'm pretty sure that everyone has said something horrible, and I'm sure she has said worse to other girls. Not to mention that she had sex with his best friend.

So where are all of Chelsea's friends denouncing the anti-Adam facebook page? Oh that's right. It's only bad when they are bad mouthing Chelsea.

I don't have a problem with her having a kid. The problem is that she exploited the situation and agreed to do the show.

Are all of the parents of VHS students so judgmental? "She should've had an abortion" is so disturbing. Regardless of your personal views on abortion, it was Chelsea's choice. It's none of your busines if she decided to reproduce. Also, the comments about "mileage' are so stupid. Women (including Chelsea) are human beings, not cars. Men may 'expect" sex? Some women expect sex from men they're dating, too.I'm not condoning premarital sex as a Christian. I'm just asking for some intelligence.

SIOUX CITY IOWA poster-

Wow, you are incredibly judgmental. I personally am 24 years old, only had sex with one person (my husband!) and have been on birth control since i was 13 due to having Dysmenorrhea. Hate to tell you, but generally people's personal beliefs have a lot more to do with if they'll have sex early than access to birth control. Birth control has SEVERAL positive uses besides protecting from pregnancy, and it doesn't make anyone turn into some uncontrollable sex fiend. I am personally insulted that someone would assume that if you have access to birth control, you're going to "BE OFF THE CHARTS WITH MILAGE BY THE TIME SHE IS IN HER TWENTIES!!". Grow up. People are going to be having sex regardless of if they have birth control, they might as well be safe about it.

Also, you say she needs support- clearly her father is supporting her and being a great parent, but these awful comments you post are anything but. I hope that if you were ever in this situation you'd be more supportive of your own child, rather than preaching your beliefs as if they are facts.

Chelsea is not 16 years old. She is 18 and will be 19 in less than 6 months!!

Being 16 and pregnant should not be entertainment fodder, it is a serious situation and this girl needs counselling, support and maybe a locked door! I was SHOCKED when in the beginning of the show her father asked her why she did not take her birth control? HELLO-BUT A 16 YEAR OLD SHOULD NOT BE TAKING BIRTH CONTROL!! Teenage Parenting 101 Daddy!! You need to read it, google it or go to your library and ask the help desk (they might know a little about raising a teenager). If you allow teenagers to have the liberty to take birth control, then you are allowing her to have sex with every man in her life from there on!! If she started having sex at 16....WOW, SHE IS GOING TO BE OFF THE CHARTS WITH MILAGE BY THE TIME SHE IS IN HER TWENTIES!!. Every guy she will meet will consider sex as part of the equation because she has already experienced it. Boys walk all over her now and they will continue to walk all over her. TAKE HER TO GET SOME HELP- RUN PLEASE DON'T WALK!!

Loved watching this show! I live in a town close-by and am in Vermillion constantly. What a fantastic family Chelsea has! I am so proud of her! Parenting is tough even when your older & married! I have two little ones and it is a struggle everyday even though I have a husband who does half of the work. I wouldn't change it for the world & I'm sure Chelsea wouldn't either! I want to know how Chelsea is doing now. :)

Wow....I have never seen such judgmental people in my life. I agree that she made a decision to do the show, most likely to make some young girls see the reality of having a child at a young age. I, myself, wish I could have gotten a glimpse of this at a young age. I had my daughter when I was 16. I had very supportive parents, much like Chelsea , and that allowed me to become successful. I finished high school on time, and completed college on time. I am now 24, will be graduating from University of MD in May 2010 with my Master’s of Science-Nursing degree. I hate the ignorance that I see on this page, just because she had a child at a young age does not make her any less of a person, nor does it make her parents incompetent. As you all know, teens will be teens no matter what they are told. They will have sex, they will drink, they will party, and they will do many things that their parents don't approve of! Hell! We have all done stuff that our parents don't approve of, therefore that does not give YOU PEOPLE the right to bash her and her family. Chelsea, if you are reading this, take that hate and turn it into your fuel. Push for that graduation, push to make a better future for your child. In the end, only you can do that for yourself and most of all, your daughter! Good luck chica!

ps. Please drop that Adam loser, he will only bring you down in the long run!

She is by far the BEST mom on this show so far, and if you dont like the concept of the show dont watch it! Also, who cares about her sisters having kids and not being married. This is 2010 and thats not how you make the situation better. Her dad seemed like a wonderful dad, but everyone is so easy to judge him. Just wait till one of your kids ends up pregnant and see how you handle it. i really liked this show! :)

Chelsea is a beautiful girl and a great mother. She is making the best of her situation, so I think that all of you haters need to get a life and leave the poor girl alone. There's enough on her plate to begin with, especially having to deal with that d-bag, Adam.

I agree, two wrongs don't make a right. For the parents who are trying to stick up for their children who have been a victim of Chelsea's jugdement, do you think making rude remarks about Chelsea now gives your child any justic? Why don't you act like the adult you should be? I'm sure you were in high school decades ago.

So I've been reading these comments and I watched this show tonight. I think the only two things that can be said with absolute certainty is that the child is adorable and the sperm donor is a total d-bag.

In high school everyone judges everyone whether its by wealth, race, health etc. Im sure she judged people but Im sure she was judged before she was pregnant. If your child was judged by her do you think they were completely innocent? Probably not. Everyone who is talking bad about this girl is judging her. Teen pregnancy is all around us. Its not just her high school. Im sure some of your teens are having sex behind your backs as we speak. You think you know everything about you teen? Give me a break! And if you do know "everything" about your teen chances are that you are being more of a friend than a parent. Her family supports her and her child. Why are you pointing fingers at her when they should be going to Adam as well. It takes two to tango. From what I've seen she is making good choices for her daughter.

Everyone on here that takes the time to think out all the negatives of what Chelsea did or has done needs to get a life. Leave the poor girl and her family alone, they did nothing to any of you and if they did or it was something she said to you... get over it, people are rude and A holes in high school thats just how it goes! I personally am 26 years old and with a child myself and I think Chelsea is doing a great job given her age. YOU PEOPLE NEED TO KEEP YOUR NEGATIVITY TO YOURSELF YOU ARE JUST JEALOUS YOU PIECES OF CRAP! :)

I had my first child at 18 years old, right out of high school. Raising a child is not easy. It is even harder to raise a child while working a job and going to college. I am a year away from my Master's degree. I have no regrets. My child is now a teenager and excels in school and sports. I wish Chelsea and her family the very best. It sounds like she has a great support system at home. Her family has the means to support her and her baby and I applaud them. Chelsea and her child are very fortunate. To say you are going to take your family to another dentist is absolutely appauling. Would it have been better for her father to disown her and kick her out of the house? No, her family loves her unconditionally and that is respectful. As far as the TV show capturing her pregnancy on camera, the show wouldn't exist without viewers and MTV thanks all of you for watching their show. I have seen the show and I do not think these girls glamorize their situations. Rather the episodes portray teen pregnancy as a life changing event in which many of the girls grow up real fast and realize the difficulties of being a young parent. Shame on thse who have chosen to criticize and post negative comments about a young girl, her baby, and her caring family.
